What type of Propoganda is a bandwagon?
Bandwagon is when someone tries to convince someone about something because "everone is doing it".
This image was taken of a McDonald’s sign by a local McDonald's. The restaurants place these signs outside of their restaurant in order for consumers to notice there fast food or they advertise. On the sign, it states "McDonald's over 99 billion served."
The type of advertisement that McDonald's is displaying in this image is Bandwagon. They are saying that 99 billion people have eaten at this fast food restaurant. They are trying to persuade people to be interested in eating there by showing a statistic about how many other people have ate there. |
This image is a parody of a poster made during WWII. It shows a shoe with an apple computer logo sock stomping on a windows logo on the ground. It states "Real Men Use Macs," and "Don’t Fight it, Accept it As your new Computer."
This shows Bandwagon because of the statement "Real Men Use Macs." This type of propaganda is being used by the apple company trying to persuade men that they are not real until they buy their Macs. They are saying that their computers will make you more of a man then using a computer made be windows. |
